In the
beginning, the sculpture designs
(functional)
tended to be abstract and surreal. Some pieces are whimsical with an
'edgy'
humour. The next series of sculpture, using tubes and wire, were more
decorative
than functional and became more surreal than abstract. The series,
"Other
Civilizations - Other Cultures", is definitely surreal and represent
structures, or alien
architecture, and 'technologies'.

The first row is a series of three pieces, "Thought", "Word", and "Deed". As a group, titled "Voyage to New Understanding", it is an analogy of the voyage of The Nina, The Pinta, and The Santa Maria and their New World voyage.
